A Ribbon Cutting ceremony will be held on Monday, May 23, 2016, at 2:00pm, to celebrate the newly renovated Live Oak Library located at 125 Acadia Drive, Waggaman, LA.
Renovations include exterior and interior improvements to the existing facility. Exterior improvements include a new roof, painted shutters, and soffit repairs.
The interior received a complete face-lift with new LED lighting, new furniture, new technical equipment, replaced HVAC system and new interior doors.
Construction by Robert Wolfe Construction, Inc. and designed by Burgdahl & Graves Architects, total project cost was $280,915. Funding was provided by Library Funds and Bush/Clinton Katrina Funds.
