Zurich Classic of New Orleans
Due to concerns over COVID-19, the 2020 Zurich Classic of New Orleans has been canceled.
The Zurich Classic began in 1939 as the New Orleans Open and was held on the golf course at City Park. It is now a major stop on the PGA Championship Tournament Circuit and played at the Tournament Players Club in Jefferson Parish. It is the 11th oldest stop on the PGA Tour and winners include such golfing greats as Jack Nicklaus, Byron Nelson and Billy Casper just to name a few!
It is held every year during the last week of April and in 2017, it debuted a new two-man team format with some well-known players like Justin Thomas & Bud Cauley, Bubba Watson & J.B. Holmes, and Tyrell Hatton and Jamie Donaldson.
Not only do you get to watch some of the best golfers on tour, but you also get to enjoy delicious food provided by Acme Oyster House. And no Jefferson Parish event is complete without live music. After the last putt drops on the 19th Hole on Saturday and Sunday, there will be live entertainment!
