Zurich Classic of New Orleans
April 17-23, 2023
The Zurich Classic began in 1939 as the New Orleans Open and was held on the golf course at City Park. It's considered a major stop on the PGA Championship Tournament Circuit and played at the Tournament Players Club (TPC Louisiana) in Jefferson Parish.
The Zurich Classic returns in 2023. A competitive field includes Zurich Golf Ambassadors Billy Horschel, Collin Morikawa, Sam Burns, Max Homa, Matt Fitzpatrick, Xander Schauffele, & Sahith Theegala, among other of the world’s best. All will play with partners, adding an exciting element of collaboration to the competition.
It is held every year during the last week of April, Zurich and the PGA TOUR announced an exciting new two-man team format for the Zurich Classic in 2016. The first team event on the PGA TOUR since 1981 features two rounds each of foursome (also known as alternate shot) and four-ball competition.
Not only do you get to watch some of the best golfers on tour, but you also get to enjoy delicious food and drink from local restaurants. And no Jefferson Parish event is complete without live music. After the last putt drops on the 19th Hole on Saturday and Sunday, there will be live entertainment!
