Kenner, LA. – The Jefferson Convention & Visitors Bureau-Kenner was honored recently with a 2016 Readers’ Choice Award from ConventionSouth, a national multimedia resource for planning events in the South.
 
The JCVB-Kenner is among 250 convention and visitor bureaus, meeting facilities and hotels throughout the South that received a Readers’ Choice Award.
 
“We are honored for Jefferson CVB-Kenner to be awarded the Readers Choice Award from ConventionSouth,” Violet Peters, President & CEO said.  “Jefferson Parish, and the city of Kenner, offer attendees unmatched hospitality and services consistently exceeding expectations.”  
 
Kenner Acting Mayor Michael Sigur said the award acknowledges the expertise of the professionals at the JCVB working on behalf of the city of Kenner.
 
“This is quite an honor,” Sigur said. “I’d like to congratulate the Convention and Visitors Bureau.”
 
The award is the fourth for JCVB-Kenner. The group will be featured in the December Awards Issue of ConventionSouth magazine.
