Jefferson Parish ranks 2nd highest in the state for spending produced by visitors, employment earnings, and government revenue from state and local taxes. Visitor spending in 2023 was reported at $1.95 billion! The Jefferson Parish hospitality industry employed 21,492 people with over $658 million in employment earnings. Visitors contributed nearly $198 million in state and local tax revenues for Jefferson Parish. The JCVB supports the members of our organization as they work to enhance the economic development of our parish.
