Coffee has been an important industry for New Orleans since the 1860s. The Port was the gateway to imported green coffee from Latin American producers. Coffeehouses became a key component to the city’s social scene and the “coffee break” was invented (and perfected) here.
New Orleans loves a good cup of coffee. We love the people of coffee. Our goal is to celebrate and inspire the southern coffee industry by
sponsoring two days of professional networking, skills development and professional coffee education. We want to help accelerate the growth of specialty coffee in the Gulf South by celebrating “all things coffee”.
