The fifth annual Island Strong Music Fest kicks off today in Grand Isle, bringing three days of live music, food, and family fun to the coast. Created in the aftermath of Hurricane Ida, the festival is a celebration of Grand Isle’s resilience — and a fundraiser for local recovery and revitalization efforts.

Live performances from local and regional favorites, including 3rd Street, Danny Jr. & Shinesoul, Peyton Falgout Band, Clay Cormier & The Highway Boys, and many more.
Organized by the Town of Grand Isle and a dedicated volunteer team led by Councilman Brian Barthelemy, Dana Barthelemy, and Matt Rivere.
Proceeds from the festival directly support long-term recovery and improvement projects across Grand Isle — helping keep the island strong, vibrant, and prepared for the future.
