Bayou Segnette State Park

Bayou Segnette State Park in Louisiana offers a blend of outdoor recreation and natural beauty, featuring swamps, marshes, and woodlands perfect for fishing, boating, and camping.

Camping, RV Park, Fishing & More!

Nearly 700-acres of southern Louisiana wilderness at Bayou Segnette State Park where you can launch your fishing boat and run only a short distance to prime fishing spots in the nearby canals and marshes. And if you stay in one of the park’s 16 vacation cabins, you can tie up your boat to your cabin. It floats! Cabins are all aluminum, concrete, steel and fiberglass. The result is termite-proof buildings. And to deal with the threat of flooding, the cabins float on pontoons, and are able to rise and fall with the tide.

There are over 3 miles of nature trails that zig-zag through the forested areas of this state park. And early Spring fills the trails with an explosion of yellow wildflowers.

RV Camping is popular in the park offering convenience and an escape from the hustle and bustle.
