Cherries Jubilee

Huey P. Long Bridge Run

Date: Saturday, May 9, 2026
When: 8am
Race Start: Huey P. Long Bridge | West side of the Mississippi River
Race End: Ochsner Fitness Center | 1200 S Clearview Pkwy, Elmwood

The Huey P. Long Bridge Run is an annual 5K held during Mother’s Day weekend. The course goes over the iconic Huey P. Long Bridge, offering participants a rare chance to run across the Mississippi River. The post-race party has live music, local food, and ice-cold Abita beer.

Gretna Farmers Market
