From Easter egg hunts to Spring fairs and more, the towns of the parish are ready to welcome you to the Louisiana way of celebrating Easter. So hop on down and have fun!

Easter Egg Hunts

Easter Egg Hunt | March 22

When: 1 PM-4 PM
Where: Farmers & Fisheries Market | 484 Sala Avenue, Westwego

Westwego’s egg hunts will happen at 1:30 PM, 2:30 PM, and 3:30 PM, but there’s so much more to enjoy! The venue will also host live music, performed by local band Throwing Silk, and offer food, vendors, family-friendly activities for all ages, and so much more!

Easter Egg Hunt | April 2

When: 2 PM
Where: Bellevue Park | 740 2nd Street, Gretna

For those with little ones who would love to hunt for colorful Easter eggs, Bellevue Park’s hunts have been split into two events based on age. Five and under 2:45 and 6 and up at 3:15. But plan to get there early! Games and family fun start at 2 PM at the park, and are completely free to enjoy.

BCVFD Spring & Easter Pop Up | March 15

When: 12 PM to 4 PM
Where: 2220 Bridge City Ave | Bridge City

The Bridge City Fire Department’s annual pop-up market hosts a wide array of local artists and vendors with tons of fun. Explore the world of Bridge City through the eyes of the community’s creatives and artists.

Shop the Huey Easter Market | March 21

When: 9 AM - 3 PM
Where: Downtown Gretna

Throughout the streets of downtown Gretna, vendors, live performers, and activities make for a combination of Easter fun and arts exhibition. The annual event hosts lots of local creators and vendors, fit for a relaxing stroll to celebrate the Eastern/ Spring season.

Bunny Bash | March 28

When: 11 AM - 3 PM
Where: La Freniere Park | 3000 Downs Boulevard, Jefferson

The Bunny Bash has Easter activities galore. From carousel rides to vendor tents and photo ops, LaFreniere Park has everything to keep your family in awe this spring season. Be mindful that you’ll need to buy passes to this event, which will be available at the gate.

Spring Market | March 28

When: 10 AM - 12 PM
Where: Jules Nunez Pavilion | 920 Jean Lafitte Blvd., Jean Lafitte

Jean Lafitte’s spring market brings vendors of all kinds to the streets of the town with a little Easter spin. The event will have crafts, books, and even an egg hunt! Not to mention, a special appearance from the Easter bunny with photo opportunities.

Craft for Kids: Easter Egg Ornament | March 28

When: 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM
Where: Harahan Library | 219 Soniat Ave, Harahan

For kids 6-11 the Harahan branch of the Jefferson Parish Library is hosting a crafting hour. The weekend before Easter, children will have the opportunity to decorate a wood-carved Easter egg ornament. Be aware, this event does include paint! So make sure to pack a smock or two for your littles.

Tea with the Bunny | March 28

When: 10 AM - 12 PM
Where: Kenner Pavilion | 3800 Loyola Dr., Kenner

Tea with the Bunny is more than just a photo opportunity for you and your family. After snagging a photo, enjoy an event with an egg hunt, games, food, and crafts. You won’t want to miss out, so make sure to register here.

Craft for Toddlers: Easter Egg Hunt | April 1

When: 10 AM - 10:30 AM
Where: Harahan Library | 219 Soniat Ave, Harahan

The Harahan Library is hosting a storytime and activity for toddlers (0-5 years old)! Bring your kiddos for a reading of Laura Hughes’ “We’re Going on an Easter Egg Hunt” and help them design their own Easter egg.

Easter Party | April 12

When: 5 PM - 6 PM
Where: Divine Mercy Catholic Parish | 4337 Sal Lentini Pkwy, Kenner

The Divine Mercy parish hosts a mini Easter party for children on Sunday, April 12. The party offers pizza, games, and Easter-themed activities, including egg dying and egg hunting.

Easter Brunch

Kenner Seafood Market, Restaurant & Catering | Easter Sunday

When: 11 AM - 11:59 PM
Where: 3140 Loyola Drive

One of Kenner’s seafood favorites is ready to celebrate Easter brunch or Easter dinner with you! Munch on some Louisiana classics, like gumbo, po-boys, and of course, plenty of seafood options.

The Roosevelt Hotel | Easter Sunday

Where: 1350 Roosevelt Way, New Orleans

The Roosevelt Hotel in New Orleans has hosted an Easter Brunch for a few years now that serves up delicious food alongside bottomless mimosas. This event is on the pricier side. Tickets range in price from $39 for 3-12 year olds and $99 for individuals older than 13.
