METAIRIE, LA – Councilman Jack Rizzuto is excited to announce the opening of Lafreniere Park’s Spray Pad tomorrow, Saturday, April 1, 2017 from 12:00pm to 7:00pm.  It will remain open during these hours on Saturdays and Sundays.  Beginning late May, the Spray Pad will be open seven days per week.

The Spray Pad sprays more than 135 gallons of water per minute and covers approximately 4,000 square feet of surface.  Children 10 years of age and younger can enjoy in-ground water spray features and five above-ground water spray attractions. Guests can also spray each other with water “cannons”.

The Spray Pad is located adjacent to the Carousel in Lafreniere Park and cost $5.00 per person for a 90-minute session.  Food, drinks, glass containers, toys and floats are strictly prohibited.
