The site features fully-searchable images of every page printed by the Times-Picayune between 1837 and 1988. Patrons with a library card can access this robust archive from home, the library or a mobile device. It’s free of charge and is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. 

In addition to 150 years of local and regional news coverage the archives of the Times-Picayune offer a massive index of birth and death notices, classifieds, and news reports published in the Times from the nation and the world. Library users can now search for all of that data keyword or browse by date or topic.
