JULY 4^TH CELEBRATION

LIVE MUSIC, SHRIMP FEST AND BLESSING OF THE FLEET

Bucktown will celebrate its third annual July 4th Bucktown Bash at the Bucktown Marina located just over the Lake Pontchartrain levee along Old Hammond Highway in Jefferson Parish.

Bucktown will celebrate Independence Day with a Shrimp Festival featuring a delicious variety of shrimp dishes and other cuisine from its popular seafood markets and restaurants.

There will be live music with local and nationally known artists, crafts, kid’s attractions, a Bucktown heritage display and the historical Blessing of the Bucktown Fleet.

Bucktown will celebrate the neighborhood’s roots in music featuring musical entertainment by Harvey Jesus and Fire, the Water meters and Wet Willie.

Admission is $5 dollars at the gate, children 12 years of age and under are free.
