Parc des Familles sits on 610 acres of land that has been developed into a multifaceted complex with green space in abundance! Stroll on the 2,000-foot elevated boardwalk that winds through a beautiful cypress swamp, 2 dog parks (one for large dogs over 22lbs, one for small dogs, under 22 lbs, nature trails, 3 pavilions, mountain bike trails, restrooms, and picnic areas.

Come enjoy our Par 65, 18 hole premier disc golf course designed by John Houck created in a hardwood cypress swamp and is really one of a kind. The fairways are carved through a forested area, with the throwing lanes lined by beautiful cypress trees.

The Splash Park and Splash Pad offers a wide variety of spray effects with 14 water features and a host of other water activities that can twist and turn - promoting imagination and coolness. A wrought iron fence surrounds the Splash Park for user safety. Benches and shade cover parents so that they may watch the excitement on their children’s faces as they enjoy this space.

Visit the new Mountain Bike Trail! The 5.15-mile raised route, which is suitable for riders of all skill levels, winds through cypress swamps & features tight, twisty single-track sections with rollers & jumps that lead to long runs along groomed canals. Along the trail, you'll also find Louisiana-based display items for riders to enjoy. The the new trail terrain utilized concrete to create recycled hills and bridges to connect drops and steps surrounded by trees and wildlife. Only non-motorized vehicles are permitted, & all riders must wear helmets. The trail is open year round! 

The park also includes a sport quadplex comprised of four baseball/softball fields, batting cages, concessions, and a press box.
