Jefferson Parish Pet Fest
The Party "Where Pets Bring their People" features a Pet Adopt-A-Thon with 40 shelter/rescue groups offering over 400 adoptable pets, a Pet Health Watch area, a free Pet Costume Contest with amazing prizes, Pet Marketplace, delicious local cuisine, live music and much more! Hundreds of adoptive pets have found homes at Pet Fest!
Join us February 10, 2019 from 10am to 4pm in Metairie at Lafreniere Park. Admission is free!
Festival-goers are encouraged to register their furry friends in the free costume contest which will feature a celebrity judge or two! Enjoy local Louisiana beers and a variety of yummy food from a variety of top restaurants in the area.
Pet Fest is the perfect place to adopt a new four-legged friend! There will be hundreds of homeless animals searching for their forever homes. In addition, the Pet Marketplace will house vendors offering the latest in pet nutrition and pet supplies from dozens of local business and their sponsor, Science Diet.
Over 25,000 people attended Pet Fest 2017 and all proceeds raised went to Jefferson SPCA to support and assist the Jefferson Parish Animal Shelter.
Pet Fest is a combined effort by Jefferson SPCA, Jefferson Parish Animal Shelter, Jefferson Parish, and the City of Kenner.
