What began in 2011, as a simple vision to bring people from all over the metro area together to enjoy and celebrate the beauty and history of our Hispanic heritage, has turned into a fast growing and popular event. We once again hope to meet people’s expectations while supporting our artistic family.
This free admission family festival, which takes place at Lafreniere Park in Metairie, is an event like no other uniting people through music, food and dance. The goal is to grow it to be the largest free admission celebration of Hispanic heritage and culture in Louisiana. Que Pasa Fest was created by Cervantes Fundacion Hispanoamericana de Arte.
As every year, 2025 will not disappoint with the musical line up, food booths and community outreach booths that are available at the Fest for people to enjoy. The children's area will once again be there for the little ones to play in. Because we are a free admission festival, we ask that you do not bring food or drinks in, but rather support the vendors and Cervantes Foundation with your purchases at the Fest.
