The Old Metairie Garden Club will be hosting its first Old Metairie Spring Arts Festival on Saturday, March 23, 2019 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. on Canal Street, between Focis St. and Nursery Ave., in Metairie. This art festival was conceived by Ana Borden, who serves as the Director of Arts Festival for the Old Metairie Garden Club and is a local architect in New Orleans, along with Carmen Waring, President of the Old Metairie Garden Club. The art festival will feature over 500 works for sale from an variety of talented local artists, food and an array of fun family and art based activities, including live entertainment by Harvey Jesus and Fire. The Old Metairie Garden Club’s Old Metairie Spring Arts Festival is a great way to show support for the Jefferson and Orleans Parish’s visual arts community. This event would not be possible without the support of its sponsors: Latter and Blum, AMB2 Architects and our Jefferson Parish Councilwoman, Jennifer Van Vrancken.
