This year they are celebrating 30 years of providing this annual, free food festival on July 4th to feed and meet the needs of nearly 5,000 people from the Greater New Orleans area. In addition to serving 4,000 pieces of BBQ chicken, thousands of servings of hot dogs, jambalaya, red beans and rice and desserts, they also give away over 500 pairs of new shoes and socks, free haircuts and manicures. This year they are partnering with Second Harvest to give away groceries to those in need.
Free food, live music & a kids tent!
