DESTREHAN, LA – The River Road Historical Society, operating as Destrehan Plantation, is excited to invite you to the 52nd Annual Fall Festival Fundraiser! This family-friendly event will be held on the beautiful grounds of Destrehan Plantation, located at 13034 River Road, Destrehan, Louisiana, on November 9-10, 2024.

Visitors will enjoy a unique shopping experience with over 180 arts and crafts booths featuring talented vendors offering handcrafted items such as fine art, seasonal décor, pottery, desserts, spices, woodcrafts, jewelry, clothing, toys, candles, and home-grown plants.

For antique lovers, our historic Mule Barn is a treasure trove, featuring distinctive pieces from antique dealers across Louisiana.

Children will have a blast with pony rides, face painting, fall-themed arts and crafts, and the exciting bungee jump.

Take a break and savor a variety of southern-style meals at our food court pavilion. Beverage options include sodas, water, beer, wine, and our signature Plantation Punch.

Special performances include a dance showcase by the Southern Charm Dance Team on Saturday, November 9, from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM, and a Ford Model A exhibition on Sunday, November 10, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Free parking is available on-site, at Bridge Park, and along the levee. Rideshare services like Uber and Lyft are also available to and from the festival.

Admission is $10 for adults and teens, $5 for children aged 6 to 12, and free for children 5 and under. Guided tours of our historic home are available for an additional $15 per person, with children 12 and under touring for free. Tours are offered every 30 minutes, starting at 9:30 AM, with the last tour beginning at 4:00 PM.
