The Gretna Art Walk is held on the 2nd Saturday during the months March - May & September - December from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and coincides with the Gretna Farmer's Market. Art Walks are held on beautiful Huey P. Long Avenue in Historic Downtown Gretna. Vendors from all areas of Southeast Louisiana offer their artwork for sale.

Join the Barataria Preserve Park Rangers and Dr. Craig Hood of Loyola University on October 27th for an evening program about the Bats of Barataria. After the talk and questions and answer session, bat sound detection equipment will be used to help hear the bats fly by! A children’s bat craft will be available during the talk.
